In what way do Media and advertising work together?

Media and Advertising use one another to function properly. Many forms of media are financially sustained by advertising. Television programs have publicity breaks in which commercials are aired. Companies pay millions of dollars for radio and TV airtime to promote their products. They also pay millions to have a spot on newspapers to advertise what they want to sell whether it is an idea, product or service. Magazines also work the same way. So all these forms of media rely heavily on the money from advertising for financial security.

Similarly, advertising relies on the Media to get through to the audience. Without the media, businesses would not be able to reach their customers and thus lose commercial potential. Media and advertising are everywhere in our daily life, when we watch television or a movie, read a book or a magazine. They are bound to work together in order to produce a better outcome.
