What are some mass media effects and their impact on society?

Mass media plays a major role in society because it is apart of our everyday life. Everything we do and every way we communicated is based off of using mass media. Without it life would be drastically different and our lives would change dramatically. The ways in which it impacts society is by being a huge part of our lives it is the way we communicate and obtain knowledge about the world. Without it life would be closed minded and more difficult to obtain news.
