In what way do media and advertising work together?

Media and advertising feed off each other to survive. In advertising, agencies create media plans to ensure that advertisements reach the right target audience. Media plans are layouts to where ads are places. Media buyers use formulas to decide which media are best for reaching potential consumers. Media needs people to be interested in their products or ideas. A major way of reaching mass audiences is through advertising. Advertising keeps some form of media alive, newspapers and magazines. Many newspapers use advertising as their revenue. Buyers go to the newspapers and ads in the paper when ready to buy.

Without media, advertising would have no audience. Television, radio, online, newspapers, and magazines are all ways that advertising can take advantage of the mass audiences. Everyone across the country views some form of media each day and with that comes millions of views for advertising. Without each other, neither would survive.
