There will always be a cycle; technological advances are made and instantly people want to deliberately invest both their time and money. Most of us find ourselves involved in the rapidly moving cycle. New technology is released and moments later we jump on the bandwagon, itching to receive, operate, and engulf ourselves in the product.
On October 23, 2001 the iPod was released. Many of us can think back to a hand full of people who ran out and bought the new product. In fact I can remember both my father and brother hopping in line to receive theirs. Every time thee newest iPhone is released I can assume that my brother will be waiting in line all day at the Apple store. Faster, smarter, sleeker, tinier is what we crave when it comes to technology. We are so dependant on having technology at our fingertips and not to mention thee most current.
Television, radio, and cameras are all different forms of media technology that help us to engage and communicate both easier and more efficiently. We’ve become extremely dependant on technology, however I would consider this to be impressive. We have fully taken advantage of all the forms of technology that are at hand. Therefore the cycle of technology dependence should be viewed as a positive relationship with both humans and information.
