The way news is reported has been through numerous changes. The first form of news started with newspapers, moved to radio, then television, and now consumes many Internet sources. The Internet has become a great way to spread news in a fast and efficient manner to the mass media. For this generation, the Internet has become integrated into our lives. This makes it more convenient for us to check online then to go to the store and pick up a newspaper. By browsing the Internet, we can choose what we want to read. Even if the story is a few days old, we can search the Internet for the news source.
Blogging is also a way that news has found a way to spread itself. Blogs have been a huge social network for the public. Although many blogs are bias, those who read the blogs find a common interest with the writer. If a blog sparks the attention of the mass audience, the blogs can become widely viewed. In this case, if a blogger writes any type of news, lets say some important controversial issue, then its followers will become immediately aware. A blogger could even capture the attention of someone who opposes his or her views. The Internet has provided a new way for news and information to travel at an impeccable speed to the mass audience.
