How has mass media technology changed the way audiences are entertained?

Have you ever heard your parent or grandparent say to you, “We never had that when I was a child.” Media technology increases and intensifies every year. Such new technology keeps audiences entertained without anything ever becoming, “old.” Since new technologies are formed so suddenly, it’s easy to leave one entertainment piece to another, instantly. Entertainment started out with plays on stages, to radio shows, to television, and now look at the media; there are so many forms of entertainment in the media presently, how do we keep up? We have: musical entertainment, from rock n’ roll to rap, with television musical performances to live performances. Sports are another form of entertainment which have drastically changed over the years, with new sports or new athletic arenas, field, etc. sprouting. There is also sex in the media now which is known as adult entertainment. Video games are also becoming more and more popular as the years go on. How often do new videos games come out? Nobody could ever be bored with the forms of entertainment there is modernly. Any type of entertainment can fulfill any kind of audience. There are so many options for audiences nowadays. Why do you think our parents always tell us we should never be bored because there is so much technology out there now that it is impossible to not have something to entertain you.
